Hullbridge County Primary School.

I went to Hullbridge between 1965 and 1971 and loved it. Mr Hardy took us for music and I learnt the recorder and xylophone! I still knock out a good tune on my kids recorders... I can even sing Tit Willow and A Wandering Minstrel all the way through thanks also to him. I was in Mrs Dentons class at 5, and also had Mrs Longthorne who taught sewing! and dishcloth knitting, Mr Avington, and Mr Thayer. I went to Belgum in 1971 for four days, and was the only girl who got her legs smacked by Mr Thayer...I was whistling in class!! Great Days!!!!!!
